About Sean
Sean Phillips is a software and web developer, who works on both front and backend solutions. Sean has been interested in computers since a very young age and finally gained traction in his interests when he began programming at just 12 years old. In the years since then Sean's interests have hugely widened to encompass many more aspects of the world of technology, from web development and security to low-level desktop development.
Sean is highly skilled in a number of programming, scripting and markup languages - Primarily using C++ and Delphi for desktop development, PHP for web applications, and HTML, CSS and JavaScript for frontend web development, preferring the use of MySQL for database-driven applications. Sean is a very fast learner, and can adapt quickly to the use of new concepts and languages in projects and is open to trying new approaches in all aspects of his work.
While Sean is at heart a developer, he still is a very competent designer who can very easily visualise layouts and other important user experience elements, consistently providing applications that are very easily used and navigated by all users. Sean also thoroughly enjoys problem solving and can generally foresee problems and plan to avoid them in the earliest stages of developments.
Outside of the many projects Sean has been part of, Sean has spread his love of programming and web development to his peers in classes which he taught as an after school module in his school. Between all of his work with technology, Sean manages to make ample time for his schoolwork and his other hobbies such as art and sports.
